Thomas makes Emerald return

Thomas the Tank Engine will visit Emerald in the spring.
WORLD-FAMOUS steam train Thomas the Tank Engine will be visiting Emerald later this year.
It will join Australia's most famous steam engine Puffing Billy at Emerald railway station in October and November.
Puffing Billy special events manager Di Gadsden said Thomas had been a regular visitor at Puffing Billy during autumn and spring for more than seven years and was delighted to welcome him back again.
"A series of shows, featuring a real working steam Thomas the Tank Engine and The Fat Controller, will take place at the Puffing Billy Emerald station, which will be a delight for young and old," she said.
Admission includes a pantomime show featuring Thomas with The Fat Controller and the Troublesome Trucks, a return steam train trip from Emerald to Emerald Lake Park, face painting, a jumping castle, a visit to the animal nursery and a ride on Green Bulgy Bus.
Shows are on October 11-12, 18-19, 25-26 and November 8-9.
